With my first name being Rory, (and thanks to a certain UK based holiday resort mascot), many nicknames from an early age have revolved around tigers, from the fairly simple ‘Rory the Tiger’ to the more continental sounding “El Tigre” which I admit means pretty much the same thing albeit in a different language! Various gifts are based around tigers and I even decided to name my website after them. So I’ve associated with tigers pretty much all my life, and am proud to begin the association between Tiger Time and Fuzzy Tiger Photos.
60 years ago there were an estimated 100,000 wild tigers. In my lifetime the wild tiger population has dropped from around 25,000 to under 5,000 (with some estimates as low as 3,000!).
The Caspian Tiger, the Javan Tiger and the Balinese Tiger are all now EXTINCT!
If numbers continue to drop at current rates ALL tigers could be extinct by 2035.
Just 20 years from now!
To help save these wonderful creatures from extinction, I’ve decided to donate £1.00 from every print and download sold, through the site!
Tiger Time is a campaign of the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation a UK registered charity (1108693) working to save critically endangered mammals in their wild habitat
